Collagen is a naturally occuring substance found in the skin which gives it elasticity and plumpness. With aging, the skin loses its collagen and becomes thinner. Lines and wrinkles start to appear along areas of expression movements.
Collagen can be injected into the skin along the lines and plump out the skin to improve the appearance. This only takes a few minutes and leaves only minimal redness that can easily be covered with make-up. The collagen is gradually absorbed by the body and top-up treatments are required every 4 to 6 months.
Collagen is also ideal for lip enhancement (Paris Lip). For this, we inject Collagen into the lips which can increase the size of your lips by as little or as much as you like.
You may be allergic to Collagen and so we always do a skin test before treating you. You should wait 4 weeks before having the treatment.

The cost of fillers such as Collagen depends on the number and severity of lines to be corrected.
You may just need half a vial for a few lines above the lip or anything up to three vials for more comprehensive treatments to different areas of the face.

Zyderm 2 (for most lines) is £260 for 1 vial £160 for half
Zyplast (for deep lines and lips) is £270 for 1 vial and £ 170 for half
